Studies and Indicator suite on Volumetrica.

Once you have configured your layouts and workspaces, you can further enhance your charts by integrating various studies and chart types that align with your trading strategy.

Adding Indicators

  1. Accessing the Indicators Menu:

    • Click on the "Indicators" button located at the top-right corner of the window.

    • You can browse through the available indicators categorized under Volume and Technical Analysis, or use the search bar to locate specific indicators efficiently.

  1. Applying and Customizing Indicators:

    • Select the MACD indicator from the search results. The platform will display preset values, which reflect the standard settings for the indicator.

    • Customize these settings as needed to suit your trading preferences. You can adjust parameters such as periods and thresholds to align with your specific strategy.

    • Click “Apply” to add the indicator to your chart. You can repeat this process to include multiple indicators as required for your analysis.

    • Ensure that you save your customized indicator settings as a template and include it in your workspace to maintain consistency across trading sessions.

Adding Drawings and Studies to the Chart

  1. Utilizing Charting Tools:

    • On the right side of the chart, you will find toolbars for both pointer and drawing tools.

    • Pointer Tools: These tools help navigate the chart and determine precise price levels. The available pointer tools are:

      1. Pointer Tool: Allows for general navigation.

      2. Hand Tool: Facilitates horizontal movement of the chart.

      3. Crosshair Tool: Enables precise identification of price levels on the chart.

    Use these pointer tools to make accurate adjustments and positioning of chart elements.

  2. Applying Drawing Tools:

    Below the pointer tools, the drawing tools available include:

    1. Horizontal Ray

    2. Vertical Ray

    3. Horizontal and Vertical Lines

    4. Parallel Lines Tool

    5. Box Tool

    6. Text Tool

    7. Fibonacci Retracements

    8. Ruler Tool

  3. Configuring the Fibonacci Tool:

    • To draw Fibonacci lines, select the Fibonacci tool and apply it to your chart. Double-click the lines to open the settings menu.

    • Click the gear icon to access the editing options, where you can adjust the Fibonacci levels to fit your analysis.

    • In the “Tool Config” menu, click “Add New Template” to save your customized Fibonacci settings for future use.
